I'm Where? Doing What?

I'm in Albany, NY, enjoying(?) my first winter with snow. I started the year in Granada Hills, in warm sunny southern California. Sunny southern California, where we keep our snow sensibly on the mountains, admiring it from a distance, or visiting it occasionally to ski.Then a pack-n-move my stuff to my mother's, and my housemates to Lancaster. A short side trip to my mother's to help after her knee replacement surgery. Thence to Albany, totally unplanned, to be company to my friend jan while he deals with chemo.

So here I am. Winter. Snow. What can I say? It's gorgeous.
